Share a cuppa?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Well if it's your only treat, and you find comfort in getting the coffee, I don't see it being 'wrong' @ArraDreaming .

Just something to consider, that's all.

Re: Share a cuppa?

For sure @tyme as a treat it’s ok also worked out that the cost of 3 servo coffees is the same price of one large so might try and do that instead
What’s in for you weekend?

Re: Share a cuppa?

I'm not sure what I have for the weekend. @ArraDreaming Maybe just a quiet one because I might be coming down with something... my sister's entire family is still down (only my sister standing)....

It's interesting, because i tested the kids and they didn't have COVID. But the whole house is sick.

Out of all of us, my sister is the only one who has never had COVID.

Other than that, I'm on the forums for a few hours this week. I'm not sure of the times yet though. I haven't checked.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Ohh no, I’ve had it three times!! @tyme did you get it badly when you had it?
I hope you are ok
oh do you not have set shifts or something,
how interesting, Im always fascinated in these kind of things idk why

Re: Share a cuppa?

I'm sorry to hear you're coming down with something @tyme, I hope you feel better soon. I've never had covid either, or at least have never been symptomatic with it. Lucky so far.... .

Re: Share a cuppa?

I don't think I have COVID. @ArraDreaming @Abner . When I last had it, it was mainly a tight chest.. I felt I was underwater. I also took anit-virals pretty quickly so I was fine. I only felt 'sick' for a day. The rest was just struggles with breathing.

It might just be a case of the flu going around in my sister's house. But the kids are always with me. They were sitting and sleeping on me this arvo - they looked so sick, it makes me feel sorry for them.

However, their house is sooooooo quiet! My sister got so much work done from home because the kids slept so much. One slept for 24 hours!!!

Re: Share a cuppa?

You spend a lot of time with them @tyme how nice of you
and yes the kids are always cutest when they are sleeping 😛

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yes, I see the kids EVERY day @ArraDreaming . I creep home so they don't see my car and I get into the house as quick as possible so I can have some time to myself.... next thing you know, they are banging on the door... my heart drops, but I also know they won't stay this age for ever - so I'm putting up with it.

And yes, they are the cutest when asleep... makes me want to eat them lol... but they drive me around the bend when they are up....

Re: Share a cuppa?

i have the weekend off, so if all goes well i think I might go use my voucher for the indoor skate park that I got for my birthday (kid free)

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yeah all those little things that make us go oh not now or oh not again are actually some of the most special things @tyme
Our youngest loves this music book at the moment it’s a storybook but has different buttons you press to hear music and he loves it and every night at bed time “book book” and points to this book, we just have to turn the page and press the button, and do that until the book ends, it’s the sweetest but he also wants us to restart like 4 times!! it’s exhausting and sometimes I fall asleep holding this book for him lol but it’s so special!! sometkmes I just don’t have the energy to pretend to be amazed over and over again but I still do
