That recipe is a dream for me @Oaktree - combing two things I love which is chocolate cake and not too many ingredients lol. Plus the mocha icing! It sounds amazing and I'm sure my son will love to make it with me. Thank you for sharing it 🙂🍰

It is pretty much a no fail cake. Just keep an eye on it so you don’t burn it as every oven is different. 

It is so yum, my kids adore it.

Cake sounds yum and not too hard. @Oaktree I used to do a chocolate mayonaise for birthdays as it was extra rich ...but I like the sound of the jam in yours.  Have a wonderful time with your family.

My son asked me to do a soup today... early ... thats a good sign ... but it metamorphed into a lentil and hock soup instead of traditional split pea.  Being adaptable helps ....

@Zoe7 Thanks for your confidence, but I really am pretty vulnerable in the girlfriends area.  It got a bit complicated...but I can talk about it later on my fragile thread with you later.  Meggle you are free to join me over there ... any time.  I just needed a spcae for all the wordless endless aching I seem to have lived through.  Getting the hang of the word thingummy tho ... on the keyboard ... then the voice ...

Thanks for the invite to your own special thread. It means a lot. I hope that things work out well with the neighbours. 

It’s good weather for soup here today. I have some leek and potato soup we made in the freezer and hubby bought some nice crusty bread today. Will have to wait to have it after my group though. 

I just got back from seeing my case manager and am about to leave again for graduate group.

This cake lives up to its name and is a firm family favourite. The jam keeps it so moist.
