Re: Life and trauma

@Oaktree I'm going to give that a try tomorrow.

Been trying to start getting things together to sell. Going to be homeless in less than a month so need to get rid of everything.

Thanks.  She'll be happy to no he Mrs Magoo any more 🙂

I would keep you show on... if nothing else it's background noise and may get your attention for small amounts of time.  Every little bit of distraction will help.

@MJG017 I'm sure she will be.

It's still on for now. I'm overthinking everything that I have to do tomorrow, there's so much and it's completely overwhelming me.

Just try and stay in the current moment. You can worry about tomorrow when it happens. I know that isn’t as easy as it sounds

Re: Life and trauma

@Oaktree at the moment it's impossible. I have phone calls to make and that's something I struggle with as it is. Freaking out about the appointment on Monday and the fear of having to go alone with no support. If that appointment goes badly the thoughts of what I'll do after scares me. There's a million things racing around my head and I can't make it all stop.

Trying to take things minute by minute but even that's so overwhelming.

What about if you write everything down so you get it out of your head. Then you won’t need to worry about it again tonight

Re: Life and trauma

@Oaktree i can't write it down, I can't even make sense of most of what's going on inside my head.

Re: Life and trauma

Hi @Former-Member

I just wanted to check in and wish you well with everything you have on today.  Just try to take it all one thing at a time.  That usually makes things feel a bit less overwhelming for me... just thinking about the next task rather than all of them at once.

I hope you're doing okay.
