Re: Life and trauma

@MJG017 thankyou, it means alot to have support here.

I'm thinking it's either a lizard or a gecko. But I do have a chameleon that I'm going to be doing soon.

I'm trying to look after myself but my heart rate is climbing which is rather annoying and i really don't need it to play up right now.

Do your best to relax and just breathe.  If you heart rate doesnt settle, then call an ambulance.

I have a friend who got electrocute and had had an issue with her heart rate randomly went through the roof regularly for the 3 years since the accident.  i may have rold you thus before.  But I just want to remind yiu that none of these medical people have any issue whatsoever if you keep calling them with a dangerously high heart rate.  So dont let anything put you off calling them if you do feel you should.

Re: Life and trauma

@MJG017 i know.

You have mentioned your friend and it's funny that you say that cos lately everytime I turn on a light switch or power point i get zapped, like it literally sparks at me and i feel the shock of it.

@Oaktree having a panic attack and my thoughts are racing. It's just all so overwhelming.

Sit down and take 3 slow breaths. That will calm down your amygdala.

Re: Life and trauma

@Oaktree if only it was that easy. Breathing was already challenging cos of my heart rate sitting high.

Try sitting in the dark and just concentrate on your breathing.
