@Glisten they are called yagyas, or the modern term fire labs. My NY’s resolution is don’t smoke. I’m a nonsmoker. Resolution achieved ✅

I’ve got a friend in QLD, she’s Wiccan. She literately swept 🧹 her house of bad stuff last night. 
I told her to set fire to whatever pile of refuse ended up in the dust pan.

Yes its Hindu @Glisten but anyone can participate! I've seen shamanic fire ceremony too. Don't know about Buddhist traditions. Used to belong to a pagan community not far from me and the host was into all kinds of white magic and interesting metaphysical things. She was a great psychic and could access past lives via self regression. She was very advanced along her path.
