Yes, I love taking care of little things alive or not alive. I have a teddy bear. To me he is alive. I do not care what anyone thinks of me. His name is clover and he is my family. Yes, perhaps I am being like a child. Creating something for myself. So be it. If it makes me happy then so be it. 

Dogs get very scared of Fireworks and thunderstorms.

Clover is such a cool name @Powderfinger 👍 I also have a teddy bear. My psych gave it to me when I was seeing her. I would cuddle it in sessions and she told me to take it home. I would take it back every session so it was my security blanket. It has never had a name ...just teddy. 

Tobes doesn't get spooked with storms - the noise has never affected him but tonight the fireworks were unusually loud. He is still pretty alert - looking up occasionally and little shakes. I think it will be a while before he feels okay again but I will be up with him for as long as is needed. He is the light of my life.

Yes, I love Clovers name. They are really good to have. Get you through tough times. 

Strange that it affected him so much when storms do not get to him. He will settle down but yes it usually does take them quite a long time. 

I would love to have a pet. I cannot have one where I live. No pets at all. Im not a fan of cats. I am scared of very big dogs. So, I would get a smaller dog who is not too active, likes to cuddle and is affectionate. I truly can understand him being the light of your life.

Tobes has moved back onto the floor but wants pats lol He sits under my feet and I scratch him with my toes - he loves that 🐶 I have a very precious Cat also - she has lymphoma but we are treating her with chemo meds and so far it is working. She is much older than Tobes but still rules the house lol Tobes is simply the annoying little brother but he gets super jealous when I give her hugs and he isn't the centre of attention  

The fireworks were really loud tonight but I wonder if when we get another storm he might now react to the thunder thinking it is the same noise again...

Awwwww lol he is so cute. What is his breed?  Cute little one. Lovely coat. I am sorry to hear about your cat being sick. I am glad that she is responding to treatment. Thankfully most of the time cats and dogs do get on well together, sometimes even love one another a lot.

He is a Maltese Shih Tzu @Powderfinger but more Maltese. He is pretty adorable - I do love the attention he gets wherever we go ..and he laps it up - he is a very social dog unlike his Mummy lol
