sounds like it might be Apple @HenryX @Historylover  I had same problem with later operating systems. just press green one, mine comes up on a black background now, if tap background after answering it looks like it used to

No. @Clawde  only ever put one on when at hosp and had throat tickles . Country WA, did 2 weeks lockdown 18mths ago, that's it ...

I have the Oppo Reno Z.

 

I know the issue you have. For me it just changes every now and then?? I just tried calling myself from the home phone. Got the usual big green button to swipe.

 

I Think when you get the two icons you just need to Tap/press the small green one? God knows why it changes!

 

I installed the latest update yesterday, so that might be part of the problem, but it Was happening before that anyway

Thanks @StuF.  It just started happening recently and only occasionally.  I have tapped, swiped and growled.  Nothing would open the call.  So frustrating!  I have all the updates.  I borrowed a book from the library but took it back before coming to grips.  I thought it suggested the call might be a facecall and that I should swipe the green icon right.  I'll call from a phone box as soon as I think about it and see if I can home in on the problem.  Very happy with the phone otherwise.  Perhaps I will have to find how to contact Oppo otherwise.  Thanks!
