Yeah except you can’t really swim in the beaches that don’t have a net… it’s about 30c every day though

I'm loving it tbh! I much prefer the cooler months. Lemme rug up and snug up any day, I can always put more layers on but when it's hot, there's just no relief unless you have air con... I grew up without air con in a town away from the coast (no sea breeze makes a huge difference!) so I reckon that's why I hate the heat so much!

@Jynx yeah the beaches with nets are safe and apparently they take them down around May when the threat is a lot lower also the people we are bunking with have a pool so we will have lots of swims…

Had a giggle at the kids "helping" @ArraDreaming I have that with some of my kids in our class sometimes too. I usually let them help then have to redo whatever we have done afterwards. It is the thought that counts though hey and it is lovely that your kids want to help.

Been a bit snowed under with work and trying to get things done in between sleeping. One more week of school for us then the holidays so a lot to get done this week. I am on leave for another 2 weeks after the holidays so I need to get things set up for the relief teachers.

We do start later @ArraDreaming We also finish really close to christmas at the end of the year.

Snuggled on the couch this morning but need to get moving soon to get some more work done. Raining here today so will be an inside day anyway.

Yeah I think we looked at it yesterday and our kids finish on the 22nd of something ridiculous @Zoe7 my kids found a $2 AM/fm radio at the op shop yesterday and it came with a brand new pair of corded headphones and they think it is amazing, I feel old hahaha I’m pretty sure they aren’t listening to anything… they have been flicking through the am/fm stations all morning they reckon it’s the best thing
