It's hard sometimes

Some days are really hard, I feel alone and like I don't have any one to turn to. When people need my help I feel like it's the only time I hear from them. 

Work isn't doable right now and my housing environment isn't the greatest, and feel like I have to keep to myself to keep safe on my street. 

I've been trying to get help for my mental health and I feel like it's always a dead end, doctor referred me but was going to cost me a lot of money which I couldn't afford. 

I don't really have family support either.

Sorry to hear that. I can relate to the aloneness... And work not doable... And the high cost of a doctors visit...

It can all become extremely isolating.

I'm sorry to hear things are so tough for you right now. I totally understand about the cost of specialists like psychologist that you might get referred to. I'm wondering if you might be eligible for your public community mental health service? I used to work at mine and we had some amazing staff members.

There is always the option of talking to someone at SANE's Support Centre. It is available to support anyone from 10am-10pm Monday to Friday. We have counsellors and peer support workers available to support you via phone (1800 187 263) or webchat. We also have the SANE Guided services which is our new guided service that provides free digital and telehealth services and ongoing tailored support to people over 18 years of age with complex mental health needs and their families and carers SANE Guided Service. Both are free of charge.

And of course we here on the forums are here for anyone 24/7.
