Heh. No, I tend to have more the opposite experiance; where, even if someone is right beside me trying to get my attention, it usually takes them several rounds of calling my name before I notice. As much as I've always yearned to have natural connections with people, it's never been that way for me. Any connections I have had have always been down to a great deal of effort, and even then they've all been faulty and ultimately unproductive.
If anything, I tend to have more of a "psychic connection" with the TV networks. So often, I think of a movie I haven't seen in a while, and lo and behold, I spot it listed in the TV program within the next week. But I doubt that this is down to any "psychic link" between me and the network programming directors dozens of miles away - without any psychic link to anyone in the intervening distance. It's more likely that my brain has subconsciously memorized the networks' broadcast cycle and can reasonably predict when particular movies are due to recycle.
