Hi @Jynx , thanks for the heads-up. I used to cringe at OK day, I felt awful for many reasons but there was no way I could ever explain to somebody in 20 seconds what was wrong. It's kind of weird watching people 'care' about others like it's just something optional in life? I spent so much of my early life caring about others every day - not overtly but just kinda giving a damn when others didn't. I had many comments from people that really appreciated when I listened to them - I still remember some today.
A win today is feeling like I'm getting near the top of my mountain of personal issues from years past.

I have been having a few wins lately and a lot is to do with the physical health as well as the mental health. I did a long run on World Suicide Prevention Day and most of my workdays I am able to get in quite a number of steps. I have consistently gotten myself into the gym for a cardio session up to 4 times a week.
I have even got my morning routine back to normal with regular brushing of teeth and shaves, which a lot of people will probably say isn't much but when the mental health is struggling it is always the little things that go first!

@justanotherguy Totally agree that it's odd that caring about others can seem optional to some. It's literally how we evolved to be! Social creatures that thrive through their connection to others, and ensuring that everyone in the group is having their needs met.
I'm so glad to hear you are making some strides in climbing your mountain 😊
@Arbie_wun congrats! I can really attest to how valuable routine is, and regular exercise does wonders doesn't it! Good on you for perservering 💪
Just a side note, I have edited your post to remove some of the associated number values related to your exercise - in line with our Community Guidelines. Feel free to email us via team@saneforums.org if you have any questions about this.

@Jynx - all good with the edit as I am pretty sure I know what you had to remove. Honestly, I forgot that it could have been a trigger, and I am fine with that being removed for the safety of others.
