Lets see your pets

Re: Lets see your pets

Yep. That's why she's pretty big like Ruby here. First gen are pretty small.

I have to say, I love the fact that they don't shed. @Emelia8

All my previous dogs shed and it was a horror to clean! I thought you'd had Hannah for much longer than I've had Ruby. Feels like forever when you first posted about her.

Was it Hannah who doesn't do well travelling?

Re: Lets see your pets

I've had Hannah 12 months now @tyme 😊.  I got her about 10 weeks old. And yes, same as you, my previous dogs have all shed. Hannah doesn't, which is nice. But it does mean they need grooming. A fair trade I think. Hannah is a fleece type coat and pretty easy care. Only needs a cut every 2-3 months.

Yes that's correct, she used to get carsick. Even during short drives. But thankfully she seems to have outgrown that when she was about 8 months old. She is all good now, and has come to enjoy her car rides now.

Re: Lets see your pets

Phew! I'm glad to hear she's better with travelling now. That helps a lot. I wonder if it was more anxiety?

Anyway, yes, the groom is about every 2 months. We attempt her groom ourselves every alternative groom... and yes, the next groom, we give her to a professional to groom. Each groom is about $80-$100 which is a fair bit. @Emelia8

Yeah not sure @tyme It's possible it was anxiety I guess. But I think some puppies do get carsick, but tend to grow out of it.

A full groom costs me $70, which I agree is a fair bit. But it includes bath, dry, nail trim, full groom, etc. And they do a good job and take good care of her, so I am happy.
