Re: Daily Achievements!

@Meowmy @Judi9877 @TAB @Dimity @RedHorse Great work! It is still early today, but have already achieved a 5 km walk with my dog!  Haven’t been able to go for longer walks recently, so am feeling really good today!  Hope you can all achieve something today and I hope it is something that brings you joy, hope or pleasure

Re: Daily Achievements!

Thanks, and well done @Boo13

Good evening @ShiningStar @Meowmy @TAB @Boo13 @Dimity @RedHorse @MDT  @Shaz51 @Eve7 @pinklollipop15 @maddison @tyme @Former-Member @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Paperdaisy @frog @Anastasia @LostAngel and all forumites here. Well done on your achievements️!

Welcome to this discussion thread @ShiningStar @Boo13 . I’m so glad you could join in on this wonderful thread! I hope to read about your achievements should you choose to post them.

The past weekend has been quite good after I emerged from my little suicidal episode on Thursday and Friday (that’s why I didn’t post here on the forum but I’m fine now thanks to a great mental health clinician at the ambulance service here in Melbourne). This is why I’m going to list the things I achieved over this past weekend as an achievement for coming through a rough patch in my life and overall mental health journey. They are:

- Had a shower

- Knitted and complete beanie number 24 and posted on Facebook

- Started a training course on the Emerging Minds website focusing on understanding child mental health which I’m finding really interesting and enjoyable at the same time

- Took meds

- Ate lunch and dinner

- Started a new crochet granny square blanket today and felt really calm yet happy whilst working in it for most of the afternoon

- Spoke to my sister on the phone

- Watched the nightly news

- Read more of my book ‘Rachel’s Holiday’

- Wrote down some notes in my phone about my thoughts of my suicidal issues to talk to my psychologist about in a fortnight’s time

- Took photos of Mitz my cat acting silly in my wardrobe

- Checked out Facebook

- Posted on the sane forums

Overall I’m pretty happy with what I achieved this weekend considering my previous 2 bad days before that. I hope each of you are proud of your achievements no matter how big or small they may be. Just remember that waking up and getting through the day are massive achievements that each of us do every day despite our issues and that alone deserves to be celebrated🥳!

Take care!

Judi9877☺️💐🍀

The past couple of days I've gotten out of bed and completed most of the basic routine tasks. Am on track to do the same today.
