My grass......... what grass? I'll have to save up for some topsoil.

I'll go to the nursery tomorrow. I want to get se seedlings - broad beans, Chinese cabbage and Brussel sprouts. I've got pumpkins and zucchini growing now. Guess my cooking will be based on what I can grow. It's much cheaper that way!

S1 come home all fired up to grow veggies hydroponically @Kurra. We stocked up today with seedlings. I'm not yet into growing many veggies yet but have heaps of herbs and some smaller things like spring onions, lettuce, chillies in pots. We've been lucky we've had summer rain or I'd be saying what lawn too.

My favourite is with my pencil at school - the kids often 'borrow' my special pencil and I am always asking where it is and who 'stole it'. Then one of the kids will walk up to me - me thinking they are bringing it to me - but no they reach up and take it out of my hair - where I usually put it so I DON'T LOSE I!  hahahaha
