I've never understood why it had to be Christmas to have nice colourful lights on.

@rav3n @MJG017 @Jynx @Ru-beei just had an hour long phone call with lifeline. The person was amazing and showed so much care, they honestly couldn't believe how much I've been going through and that's just of recent events. They said I've got such a beautiful heart, that I'm resilient and have alot of self awareness. They loved hearing my memories of my dog and said that I have so much love for her and my other dogs. This person really listened to everything and paid attention to every detail. Feeling a little better after being able to get everything out and being met with such kindness. I talked so much about the forums and they loved hearing how much support I get from here ❤️.

Xmas lights count! i used to have the tree around all year long 😋  @MJG017 haha i just got rid of my xylophone last year 😂

Awww thanks @rav3n . You don't know how much it means to me having the support that I get here ❤️. I've never felt like I belong anywhere but I do feel that I fit in here ❤️

That's fantastic that you got to speak to someone who was so nice and understanding.  I know those services can be a little bit hit and miss but it's so good that you finally got one of the really good ones.  I must have been nice to have a good chat like that with someone.

Awww thanks @MJG017, likewise having you here 😊. 

It was definitely nice to get someone understanding. Sometimes I don't think these services realise just how much of an impact they can have on people that are going through such a horrible situation. Just having someone listen and show compassion can make such a difference. And once again I'm told that I should be a peer support worker or work at lifeline cos I have such a gentle and calming voice and nature. If I had a penny for everytime I've heard that I'd have quite the collection 😂.
