Thinking

If what I said had any value the way I am treated would have changed already. If I had any value or worth in the eyes of others I would never have had to speak.

Re: Thinking

@ClockFace unfortunately we can't control others, it would be nice to sometimes.

You are welcome to speak on here 💗

Re: Thinking

Sometimes our biggest enemy is not lack of value from others but a lack of value from ourselves.

Do you value yourself?

Here's a good quote, "Those who mind don't matter, Those who matter don't mind"

I think you could apply the same with feeling valued by others.

Re: Thinking

Its an area I struggle with, though Im better at it than I ever have. My family see me as selfish however, I believe in taking care of ones self first in almost all circumstances, you cant fill another vessel if yours is empty.

Re: Thinking

Agreed @ClockFace - take care of yourself. You can't pour out of an empty cup. You've cared so much for your family in the past - so much so that your body has been worn.

So many times you've put them first. Now it's your turn.
