Did you mean:

Looking after ourselves

Re: Daily Check In Space

Hmmmm.
like a 7 or a 4 I don’t know. It’s changing.

i just wanted to scream “VUCK off” at my toddler today. I didn’t but man.

i could, put on some make up and go for a walk. Just breathe. Listen to Kae Tempest on repeat. Repeat.

Re: Daily Check In Space

hello @ClareBear, sounds like a very big day. How are you feeling? Did you get a chance to do some of that self-care?

@Shaz51 @greenpea @outlander @Krishna @Anastasia @Determined  @Faith-and-Hope @Joonbug @Shasan @Smc @tired_sisyphus @Emmylou @Jess1111

I thought I'd check in to see how folks are going ❤️ Feel free to use the questions below, or just have a chat

 1) How are you feeling?

You can use a scale of 1-10 (1= really bad , 10= really good), if you would like to.

 2) What is one thing you have struggled with, and one thing you have done well?

 3) What is one nice thing you can do for yourself today?

For me

 1) I'm about a 6 today. Generally ok, but very tired and really struggling to think about the busy end of year time

 2) I've struggled with guilt and frustration towards a friend I care for who keeps putting herself in triggering conversations and is not seeking much help for herself. But something I've done well is to put in some boundaries with her. It was super hard and she didn't respond well initially, but things seem ok now.

3) One thing I did today which was nice for me was to go out for brekky with a different friend and reach out for support

Re: Daily Check In Space

Hello @ClareBear. Sending you lots of hugs my friend

Here for you xxx

Hello @TuxedoCat , @Shasan , @tyme

Re: Daily Check In Space

Trying not to think about this busy end of the year also!

I agree boundaries are a great start to looking after yourself! Great job

1. How are you feeling.

1 and sinking.

2 struggled with

Attitude from s1

Abuse from darling

Threats of self harm from both

2. Done well

LoL jury if it was well executed or not but boundaries. A statement that that the above is unacceptable and I won't be accepting it.

3. Do nice for myself for today

That ship has sailed. Better luck tomorrow.

May take time out for a motorcycle ride.

Go and have a coffee with all of my friends (aka by myself)

Re: Daily Check In Space

oh @Determined, that is a lot to be holding. What kind of support do you need right now?

Are you feeling safe?

Re: Daily Check In Space

Feeling safe @TuxedoCat

Just emotional and exhausted.

Physically and emotionally exhausted.

Re: Daily Check In Space

Glad that you and the family are safe @Determined. A motorbike ride and/or coffee sounds so wonderful. I often go for a coffee by myself for alone time too ❤️

Also hello @Shaz51

Great track @greenpea - something you relate to at the moment?

And @Emmylou yes, they're good, but tough ❤️

Re: Daily Check In Space
