Hi @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @Appleblossom @Shaz51, and anyone else I am yet to meet here.
Just dropping in quickly to say hello. I'm really concerned that Zoe doesnt appear to have been around all day. I feel responsible for triggering her yesterday and I just hope she is okay. Feeling really bad, and like I dont deserve to be here.

@@Former-Member
I picked up on your sense of responsibility in other thread.
Please dont take it personally.
It was a break through for you to post and should be celebrated as such.
it is also good modelling for other people who are overwhelmed ...
We are all concerned about @zoe
Sometimes people take a break ... and she has support on and off line ...
We cant know completely what will set off another person... it may not have been you at all ...
You were really considerate ... warning about possible triggers etc.
Please dont regret your decision to post
You def deserve to be here. @Former-Member

@Appleblossom@Former-Member@Shaz51 et al.
Very true about not being able to pick someone else's triggers. I was at a Mother's Day thing when someone innocently played a comedy video about nagging mums. I've got very bad memories of nagging, and it sent me almost running out the door... I was able to go back and explain myself later, but only after I'd gone for a brisk walk around the block first. Hopefully Zoe is simply doing the online equivalent of a brisk walk.

@Former-Member ..... ❤️💕
zoe has responded on the LE forum thread ... (deliberately not tagging her here to the Carers atm) and she has left a beautiful message there for you ....
Hugs Hon .... totally agree with @Appleblossom and celebrating your break-through post with you ... ❣

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51 @Appleblossom @Smc for your reassurance and kindness, I very much appreciate it. And yes I read Zoe's message on the other thread. That was very generous of her, I must say.
Sherry xx

hellooo everyone.. well hasn't this been a busy thread and some good stuff that caught my attention but iI'm not organised enough to nicely format it all in one post. Someone mentioned cooking... oh yes.. @Smc, @Former-Member @Appleblossom I think. Forgive me if I missed someone.
I'm a purely intuitive cooker. If I try to follow a recipe I meander off it anyhow so I just get into the kitchen and follow my "gut".. hey is that a pun? 😛 So @Appleblossom... I'm one of those types. My sis is the exact opposite, she absolutely has to have a recipe . The downside of my way is things rarely taste exactly the same twice so if I make something uber sensational I savour it because it's unlikely to turn out exactly the same ever again. 😛
@Former-Member Indian.. yum! love playing with the spices, and there is so much you can do with the same spices and create so many different dishes. it depends on how much of wht you use.
The yoghurt sauce with the dahl... hmmm mmm Raita,
Crisp the cucumber with salt, toss in a smidge of garlic and some fresh mint... and now you have a perfect dipping sauce and complement to so many dishes from hot curries to wraps. There's the option to add so many extras to it too . Lemon juice, cummin, black pepper, chilli just for a few. (I don't like the green part of coriander. I do crush the roots afor a number of things nd I grind up seeds particularly for my pastes but I don't really like the leafy stem part. Strange, but I just find it overpowers everything)
Lots of versions of that though. Tzatziki being the greek version of course.
Okay... you can tell I love it. 😛
Hello @Former-Member. You definitely deserve to be here! If you don't I don't. Well maybe I don't lol but anyhow... you do. I think it is important to set boundaries and understand we can only be vigilant but we are also here to heal and learn. That's why the forum is here, at least as I understand it.
I have no doubt I'm going to stick my foot several times before I leave here. I probably already have! But I know it won't have been deliberate and I know it will always have been with good intent even if misguided.
So don't you dare say your wonderfully brave post is anything but that... wonderfully courageous. We are all at different stages, we all have our own experiences, and we all need to respect each other. That's all we can do and if someone is at a different stage that is nobody's 'fault' that is just the nature of the predicament we find ourselves in.
Now stop that not deserving stuff and come back some time to have a hot chockie and a muffin 💜
