Topic Tuesday// Living with Bipolar // Tuesday 26th March 2024 5:30-7PM AEDT

Re: Topic Tuesday// Living with Bipolar // Tuesday 26th March 2024 5:30-7PM AEDT

Gosh yes, my diagnosis came lateish at 35. An Aunt and Uncle have Bipolar, and possibly one parent (never diagnosed). I’ve also had to rethink everything! Career is constantly challenged. Hear you!

I’m female and received my diagnosis at 55 years of age.

In  some ways a shock, in other ways it explains my behaviours. I’m wondering if perimenopause and change in hormones contributed.
