I really couldn’t say what the most helpful part of my course has been so far but I am enjoying the learning experience. The role plays have definitely been the most stressful part. I am just really glad that I have stuck in there and have made it basically through term 1. Also I saw the community builder ad when Rachel put it up on her Linkedin. I am also not really qualified and I live in the wrong place. When I have my certificate I will still apply and see how I go.

I think the ad says 'and relevant studies' @Oaktree . So yes, the Cert in Peer Work is included because you can't get a degree in peer work. Peer workers are the experts!
ErghhhH! I agree about the role plays! I HATED them. Uni is different because they assign you to work with people. But in the diplomas and certificates, they ask you to do it with a friend or someone. I don't think this is right that I drag someone into it. And then, does that mean that if you don't have a person to do it with, then you fail?
I think a solution is that you get paired with a group to do it with - people who are doing the course already.
It's like when I did the ASIST MH training. We did role plays with each other. That was okay.

Yes we do role plays with fellow students but for some units we will be doing the role plays with actors.

Oh! That's really good then... well, better than having to 'pick' your own random person to do it with @Oaktree
But I get why they can be nerve-racking!
