Mental Health Plan

Hi, At the moment visits to a psychologist are financially supported by the government.  Initially a Mental Health care plan allowed you 10 subsdied visits to a psychologist.  This was then increased to 20 visits as part of the Covid support plan. Does anyone know if the government will maintain the 20 visits. As a person with a chronic mental health disorder I sure could use 20 visits in any given year.

Re: Mental Health Plan

Hmmmm 🤔 just tried to source some information on it, but it doesn’t have any information on when it is ending. I think it should become a regular subsidy. with everything we know about mental health, it is definitely in need. I will keep my ear out, and my eyes on the news and health direct website to see if I can find any updates. @Birdie57
