Hey Canberra folks, I just learned about this storytelling event coming for the first time to Australia. Looks kinda cool. "This is My Brave" is a live storytelling event where real people tell real stories about their real life mental health issues through poetry, original music, comedy and essays. The flyer says it seeks to remove stigma, open a dialog, and create opportunities for people to thoughtfully engage around the topic of mental health.

They are looking for people to take part and auditions will be this weekend.

Auditions:

• Sat, Mar 11, 2017 1:00pm Sun, Mar 12, 2017 2:00pm
• Dickson Library

The event will then take place on Saturday, May 26th at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre.
