We're doing ok. Mr RMG has no family to speak of. Christmas is just with my family and although a little tense should be ok. Mr RMG has his next oncology appt. mid January. Hopefully good news 🙂

Mr Darcy asked me what I would like for Christmas and as yet I haven't offered any suggestions as it will likely be the last gift that he gets me. I half wondered about some jewelry but I have engagement/wedding rings which to me are enough and I am not someone who drools over jeweller's catalogues. 

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Awww @Former-Member thats a hard one isnt it.  Gosh.  Ummm ... how about a piece of art from a favourite artist or sculpor? Its something that you can keep forever and think of Mr Darcy every time you look at it. And if you buy well it can appreciate in value.

Mr Darcy saw the palliative care team specialist yesterday in relation to his pain. 

At this stage they are proceeding with caution, his meds have been tweaked and he now has a new med to try for the acute pain attacks he gets. His case will be reviewed at a multidisciplinary team meeting.  The specialist feels his pain is multifaceted and we are running into difficulty as two of the first line drugs used for pain are also used in psychiatry and are in the same group as ones Mr D previously ran into trouble with. I said we would keep an open mind and balance benefit v risk. 

Clinical trial not a goer.
