Like @eth I have been out of romantic relationships for a long time.  I also have ongoing anxiety.  My best advice would be try and find that balance of really enjoying all the positive aspects of your relationship, and work on managing some of your anxiety without putting it all on him.  Maybe a counsellor will help, maybe focussing on different things about your life that matter, like your work/study, home or hobbies.  Sometimes too much pressure is placed on that one relationship so that we idealise how it is supposed to make as feel ...

It is lovely that he treats you well, and probably is normal that there is some anxiety if you feel you may lose something good in your life.  Take Care of you and him.
