@Judi9877 I too enjoy diamond painting. For me it's a perfect hobby. I don't have to try and make any decisions, I can dot while watching TV or listening to music. I've been doing them for about 5 years now.

Red Dot sell a good variety, along with Spotlight and there are a few online stores too if you want to venture out with the bigger ones. And of course Kmart, Target and BigW also sell them.

Some of the diamond paintings I've done are below.
I have a couple of other Australian bird paintings that I've framed and hung in the hallway. I've also filled a couple of A3 display books with smaller less intricate ones. The ones I've posted take a few weeks to do, whereas the smaller ones I can do in a day.

I'd love to be able to knit but I don't have the motivation to complete anything. I started knitting about 15 years ago in an attempt to quit smoking but I lost interest and kept smoking! I have since quit though 😊
I hope you post a pic of the blanket when you've finished, it sounds rather beautiful.
