Re: Daily Achievements!

After tidying up my African Violets yesterday I decided to sort & fertilize them all today (there are over 100).

Managed a quick trip to the supermarket. I've stuck to my budget all week so shouted myself an ice cream.

Moved some seedlings out of pots into a garden bed.

Hi @Judi9877

It’s so lovely to hear from you 💜

Oh Judi9877 💜 I’m so sorry to hear that you recently experienced a suicidal episode and my heart goes out to you 💜

In my experience, reaching out for support during times of crisis and distress is a monumental achievement and I’m so relieved to hear that you received wonderful care and support from one of the mental health clinicians’ through the ambulance service 💜

Take kind and gentle care of yourself,

Re: Daily Achievements!

Hi @Judi9877

It’s so lovely to hear from you 💜

Thank you so much for your warm welcome 💜

Although I shared some of my achievements a little while ago, I haven’t shared anything for some time now and so with this in mind, I thought that I'd just share a few of my most recent achievements:

I advocated for myself during an extremely challenging conversation with members of my family.

I read through a variety of documents and wrote a list of questions to prepare for my upcoming appointment with the NDIS.

After contacting numerous organisations, I finally found a Plan Manager who can take care of the financial issues associated with my NDIS funding.

I reached out for some additional support when I felt myself becoming overwhelmed.

Take kind and gentle care of yourself,

ShiningStar 💜

Re: Daily Achievements!

Today, I took some personal leave to contact a counsellor through the EAP.

It was nice to talk to someone about issues I am having and feeling validated instead of down and crazy for feeling this way.

I also re-contacted my tax accountant to get my return (finally) submitted. We started months and months ago and then I neglected responding to any calls or emails as I really couldn't bring myself to do it.

A huge tick off my forever looming to do list! Next item to tick off, my health care insurance (oh dear!)

When it comes to personal finance, I have to just take it slow and tick off one thing at a time because I tried to do it all at once (super, organising my accounts, re-doing insurance, salary sacrifice etc) and got nowhere!

How are you all going with your life to-do lists? Sending good thoughts and remember you do not need to do it all right now ❤️

Just watching a bit of TV atm

"I am trying my best o understand my role in the world. The more I ask and struggle the more depressed I get. But by that time I am where I started with a bit more knowledge of the journey I've just been on to guide my way a bit more"

Re: Daily Achievements!

@MDT well done hams

@Judi9877 @TAB @LookingHopeful @ShiningStar hello everyone, hope you are all going okay. Today was challenging at work. But I got through okay. Have coped for five days now not talking with best friend whom had a disagreement with. Still quite happy in myself. Ha ha. Take care all.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Hello Forumites, I have been feeling quite depressed recently and my self care and activity levels have suffered.

Although few and far between I thought I would share my achievements for the last two days to encourage myself to do better.

So... I have got up and out of bed and dressed; taken my meds; and had something to eat and drink.

Not much I know but better than nothing.
