Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay its Roadrunner the moderator.  Sorry to know things are overwhelming for you at the present. What are some of the strategies that you can count on and have done so successfully before to help ease the current distress?

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay  It’s really nice to see you. 💙💙

I’m sorry things are so tough for you in so many areas. There’s nothing I can say or do to make you feel better, but I’m listening, but not agreeing , with your self blame.

Sending lots of 💙💙💙 and support.

Hi @Roadrunner @Faith-and-Hope @Maggie @Shaz51 @outlander @Angels333 abd ithers

saw the surgeon before. I'm doing too much too soon. It's only been 3 weeks. It will take another 3 weeks.  I shouldn't feel psin in the wrist. He's away now for two weeks. If by then wrist is still sore he'll send me to have an scan. I am not to do bakery wirk. He wants me to use my hand but limit myself.
I'm feeling depressed anxious overwhelmed with all my thoughts.

Re: not feeling good

one step at a time my sister @BlueBay Heart

sitting with you

I saw the Gp today about my leg being soo sore and aching , she thinks it is because of my kidney disease , was told not to do too much , that is hard xx

Hello @Faith-and-Hope@Maggie@outlander

Re: not feeling good

I wish I could help you @BlueBay  - but right now I can't

I heard on TV that BPD is a long term disorder and it's difficult to treat - and this must be depressing news

But chronic pain is the same and really - the best I can do is accept the situation and do what I can and not worry about what I can't - so I guess that it's up to you to work that out

Your financial situation is not your fault alone - it's easy to blame yourself isn't it?

But right now I am  not worried about my situation - scared of the operation at times but I can't do anything about that right now and have to wait to see the pain specialist and hear what he has to say - and the pain in my shoulder is acute - not chronic - and quite different

So I am sitting it out and don't have any trouble being alone - I can entertain myself in various ways - I don't mind being alone - it's easier than having people around all the time - and my daughter works full time and is doing extra hours at times - she is in what's classed as essential work. I would not expect her to take time off but she is taking a day for my birthday next week

And we discussed whether it's safe or sensible to go out for lunch considering the increased known cases of coronavirus - we will decide later this week - and we will do the right thing -

Of course all of this is going on and on and people are being locked-down - this has to be a really harsh deal for people who have the virus or might have had contact - and naturally people are tired of it

Try and take life as it comes and stop blaming yourself for so much - you seem to have overused your wrist - which is inconvenient - I can understand your impatience - but go easy

I really do understand how boxed in you must feel - please deal with it as I am atm - wait it out - worrying changes nothing except your well being -

I hear you and I care and it's okay that you have come back and yes - I miss Sherry too

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Shaz51

That's tough - being told not to do too much - I never know how muxh too much is until I have done it

And you have to care for your Mum and Mr Shaz and his anxiety and they both rely on you to do things for them and this is something you feel you must too and I think most people would -

But what can you do? I guess you have to cut back bitzpiecez where and when you can and you are caring for two other people and yet you need that care for yourself

I wish you the best with that - I hope you can take yourself off the bottom of your list - and care for yourself a bit

It's tough Shaz - I hear
