BPD-PTSD-MS and medication and alcohol

Thursday night I have no memory of anything, I indeed remember having a bloody fit for some reason something triggered me. I don't remember anything but I have a sickening feeling I may have called the cops in my drunken psychotic state and maybe did a dibadob on someone. My dreams are so confusing as I'm scared to fall asleep because I can't tell what is reality and what is the dream. I am awaiting an appointment to diagnose further as I may be misdiagnosed and actually have scitsofrenia as I have hallucinations and extreme delusions thanks to my realistic dreams. I truly hope I've done nothing wrong..I simply can't remember. Paranoid much..that scares me.

I don't have any helpful advice to offer, @Whoops. I just wanted to say Hello and welcome you. I'm sure someone will be along soon to offer you more helpful advice. I can only say to sit back and calm yourself. Perhaps sit outside and bask in the sunshine—if you have any at your place.

Re: BPD-PTSD-MS and medication and alcohol

Thank you kindly, hope your doing well and thanks again for saying hello 👋 😊

Re: BPD-PTSD-MS and medication and alcohol

Hi there @Whoops ,

Thank you for sharing what has been happening for you recently. It does certainly sound scary to know you have been through something but have little remembrance of it.

Do you have friends of family as supports at this time?

I really hope your appointment with a specialist goes well and they are able to get to the bottom of what is happening. In the meantime, you are more than welcome to hang out with us on the forums here.

What are some things you enjoy?

If you want to tag someone into your post so they receive a notification, you can type "@" in front of their name e.g. @tyme .

Once again, a warm welcome to you.

Re: BPD-PTSD-MS and medication and alcohol

Thank you @tyme for your lovely welcome. A nice sunny day!, I hope your doing well. 🌄🙏

Re: BPD-PTSD-MS and medication and alcohol

My apologies @tyme i missed your question

I have my Dad and some nice close mates xo.

Re: BPD-PTSD-MS and medication and alcohol

So it sounds like you have some supports around you @Whoops - do you think they understand what you are going through at the moment?

It is important that you have a good support network around you. Even if they go with you to appointments (if you want), or just check-in with you.

You deserve to get the support you need.

Re: BPD-PTSD-MS and medication and alcohol

Sounds like you are in an awkward pickle of a situation. The good news is that you have some mates and support people. You sound very proactive in trying to seek out a correct diagnosis, and boy can that be difficult! Keep up the great work! I know it’s hard, but do you also have some good going on in your life?

By the way,  I watched a Ted talk about schizophrenia by Cecilia McGough. It was incredible. It’s wonderful to live in an age where there is growing mental health advocacy and breaking down of stigmas.

How are you today @Whoops . I was thinking about you and decided to pop by to check-in.

Please take care.
